Professor and Vice Chairman, Neurological Surgery

Dr. Michael Schulder is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School. His primary interests include radiosurgery, advanced techniques of image-guided neurosurgery, and skull base surgery. He received advanced training in stereotactic radiosurgery at the Joint Center for Radiation Therapy at the Harvard Medical School and at the University of Florida, in Gainesville. He is the Director of Image Guided Neurosurgery and the Co-Director of the Stereotactic Radiosurgery Center at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Schulder received his medical degree from Columbia University in l982 and trained in neurosurgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, finishing in 1988. He is an active member of the American Associations of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society, American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, and the North American Skull Base Society. He has presented on neurosurgical topics of his varied interests and expertise at many national and international meetings, and published articles in the major neurosurgical journals.
